Sea-Cargo is pleased to confirm the implementation
phase II of the Esbjerg service – starting week 39/2007. Phase
II include increased sailing profile by two direct weekly sailings
in each direction. Capacity and flexibility will be substantially
increased with a dedicated vessel allocated for the route - WC
Norway/Esbjerg.
Sea-Cargo introduced a new hub to its liner network in July 07
– when a weekly service to/from Esbjerg was established by the
use of the RORO vessel mv Nordia.
The service has been a great success, and the feedback from our
customers has given us necessary comfort to introduce phase II
already following this 3 months introduction period.
Phase II is being introduced as from week 39, with the first
northbound sailing from Esbjerg Tuesday 25 September. Phase II
include introduction of a dedicated vessel, with a revised twice
weekly schedule designed to meet the market demand.
The Sea-Cargo liner system, which already includes Aberdeen,
Immingham and Amsterdam – is as such complemented by yet another
link into the centre of Europe.
Esbjerg is also an offshore port, and with direct calls into
Tananger, Aberdeen, Ågotnes etc – this new link will provide
the offshore bases with a new logistic solution not available
today.
